Dishayna Perkins is Owner/ Editor-in-Chief of Front Street Entertainment Magazine. She leads the magazine’s editorial coverage and overall publication, which blends personal, professional and family related content and entertainment. A working mom herself, Dishayna is also a 5 year Paraeducator for Fayette Co. Public Schools, student at Bluegrass Community Technical College, majoring in Business Management, Book Promotions Specialist and Special Events Coordinator. Before starting up Front Street Entertainment Magazine, (April 2005)she was a stay at home mom, which encouraged her to find her niche as an entrepreneur. She enjoys the creative freedom to submit her thoughts and hard work into FSE monthly, magazine publication. However, although some of our most locally talented people have been featured in FSE Magazine, it has become clear that more time and resources would be needed to further develop this brand. On April 29, 2009 Front Street Entertainment Magazine was voted as an Accredited Business, by the Better Business Bureau of Central & Eastern Kentucky. As far as special talents, she is a freelance graphic designer, writer/songwriter,singer, photographer and journalist. Dishayna is always coming up with ideas to bring people together when it comes to business and networking. December 2009, marked the 24th Issue/2nd Year Anniversary for Front Street Entertainment Magazine. This is a woman that is passionate about what she wants and works hard to succeed at what it is that she does. Dishayna also volunteers in her community and donates to the less fortunate. In conclusion to this, she continues to work hard, surround herself around positive people and will always put GOD first in everything that she does. |
